Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg
  • ~5 peaches, sliced OR 2 cans sliced peaches, in concentrate
  • 1/2-3/4 stick butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven at 350 degrees, and grease 9×9 dish.
  • Thoroughly mix together with a fork first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Mixture will be in crumbles.
  • Spread out fruit in one layer across bottom of dish.
  • Top fruit with breading mixture and cover top with small pats of butter.
  • BAKE for 30 minutes or until brown.

Notes

If doubling recipe, use 9 x 13 inch dish.
 
TIP: Serve with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
