THE Steak Marinade

Without fail, this marinade will pack flavor into your favorite cut of beef!

With any meal, I try to make any step simple. It is true that not every recipe I use or will share is simple. However, I believe that there is at least one way to make any of the steps easier or more time efficient. Marinating is one of the best ways to get tender, juicy, and delicious meat every single time without a lot of hassle.

The original recipe uses soy sauce, but I have made another version using Bragg’s Liquid Aminos as a substitute for it.  There isn’t a lot of flavor difference between the two, but liquid aminos pack more nutrients into your meal – as they are the building blocks of proteins found in your body.

For those that may have a gluten intolerance, this is also a great product for you.  Also, although this is created for red meat, this marinade would be awesome for grilling large Portobello mushroom “steaks” or to-fu!

Simply dump all of your ingredients into a bowl or large measuring cup, and whisk away!  You just want to whisk it long enough to have everything incorporated.

This weekend, you can try this marinade for a Saturday night stay-at-home date night with your boo, or you can show off your skills and treat them to a special meal made by you on Valentine’s Day next week.

Trust me, this one makes an impressive presentation and will make your partner give you major “heart eyes.”
